Infrastructure Committee Meeting

The Department for International Trade (DIT) and Egyptian-British Chamber of Commerce (EBCC) are organising a virtual launch meeting of our newly set up Infrastructure Committee, the meeting will take place on Tuesday 08 June at 10:00AM UK time / 11:00AM Egypt time.

These Infrastructure Committee Meetings are a joint DIT/EBCC initiative to strengthen bilateral partnerships, increase foreign direct investment and promote the export of services and products in the infrastructure sector. Each meeting organised by the Infrastructure Committee will focus on a sub-sector such as transport, housing, urban development and water, with a rotating meeting agenda. The meeting on Tuesday 08 June will discuss opportunities and challenges in the transport and logistics sector.

This meeting will be opened by HMA Sir Geoffrey Adams, the British Ambassador to Egypt and His Excellency Kamel Al Wazir, Egypt’s Minister of Transport.
