Education Mission to Egypt

Invitation to join a Higher Education Mission to Egypt, jointly organised by the Egyptian-British Chamber of Commerce, British Embassy in Egypt, Egyptian Cultural and Educational Bureau in London, and British Council:  Promoting Transnational Education (TNE)

This mission is, dedicated to fostering Transnational Education (TNE) and strengthening educational ties between the UK and Egypt.

The upcoming education mission will centre on two key objectives:

1. Advancing Transnational Education (TNE): Strengthening ongoing dialogues with universities that have expressed interest in the market, fostering meaningful partnerships and academic collaborations.
2. Exploring Technological Collaboration: Identifying and promoting opportunities for collaboration in critical sectors, including Transport, Climate Resilience & Sustainability, Water Management, and Agriculture & Food Technology, with a focus on integrating education and innovation to address global challenges.

Building on the remarkable success of our previous mission in September 2023, this initiative provides a unique platform to showcase the excellence of UK higher education and explore exciting opportunities for collaboration with Egyptian stakeholders across public and private sectors.

The trade mission will include:

• Briefings from the Ministry of Higher Education to provide an overview of Egypt’s higher education priorities.
• Pre-arranged B2B meetings with key Egyptian higher educational institutions and organizations.
• Networking events with policymakers, public officials, and private sector representatives.
• The launch event of the Sustainability Study by the British Council, offering critical insights into sustainable education practices.
